We strive to provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for everyone—particularly children, young people, and vulnerable individuals—and are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safe working practice. Windsor Forest Brass Academy, as a charitable brass band organisation, is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members.

All members of our Safeguarding Team, Musical Directors, tutors, and chaperones have completed safeguarding training and hold an Enhanced DBS check, which is renewed at least every three years.

Each of our activities has a nominated Safeguarding Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of all band members.

All our Safeguarding Team have complete the Brass Bands England BandSafe training within the last two years and have an Enhanced DBS checked within the last three years

Extended Team

All our Extended Safeguarding Team members have completed the NSPCC 'Child Protection: An Introduction' safeguarding training within the last two years and have an Enhanced DBS check within the last three years

Our Organisation is currently working towards being BandSafe accredited and hopes to have this in place in the coming weeks.
