Who are we?
We are a Brass Education and Performance Charity!
Our aim is to provide you with the opportunity to learn a brass instrument and develop into a talented musician.
We are home to multiple bands with members of all ages and abilities, so whether you’re just starting, have been playing for 20 years or want to return after a long break, we’ll have a band to fit.
Where Are We Based?
We are based in Englefield Green and have outreach programmes across North Surrey and Berkshire.
Royal Holloway, University of London have been extremely generous in forming a partnership with us and have offered to host all of our ensemble and band rehearsals on their campus.
Windsor Forest
Based in Englefield Green, on the edge of Windsor Great Park we are within the wider area of the historical “Windsor Forest”.
Brass Academy
The focus and highest priority for the charity is education. We provide and facilitate the learning and development of brass musicians of all ages and abilities.
Our logo
The burgundy stag and flourish – to pay homage to our name, the burgundy stag represents the red deer that live within Windsor Great Park and the organic style flourish links to our forest location. The stag provides a strong centre point and will be worn by all members across the organisation, linking us all together as “the stags”.
