The different bands within the charity act as developmental stepping stones as well as entry points for players of all abilities to ensure any musician interested is welcome and provided with the correct support.

Windsor Forest Brass (WFB)

The headline band of the charity. This band will contain members of the highest ability and will be a registered competing band. It’s aims are to encourage talented musicians into the charity and act as the ultimate goal for our more junior members. It will also partake in both community and paid gigs to help promote and support the charity both publicly and financially.

Windsor Forest Community Brass (WFCB)

A casual, all abilities welcome, style band for musicians over 18 looking for a relaxed ensemble. Similar to WFB they will partake in both community and paid gigs to help promote the charity.

Windsor Forest Youth Band (WFYB)

The more advanced of our under 18 bands. For our under 18 members who have exceeded the abilities of the training band. This band aims to push the limits of our young players and begins to introduce them to more traditional and advanced brass band music.

Windsor Forest Training Band (WFTB)

Our entry level under 18 band. This provides a space for those involved in the Brass outreach programme to continue playing and start developing further ensemble playing skills outside of their schools.
